Effective financial intelligence, risk and compliance training forms the cornerstone of any organisation’s governance regime. Basic anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing training covers the fundamentals. Yet, as recent billion-dollar settlements have shown, basic training is no longer sufficient to protect organisations from the wrath of regulators or governments.  Supervisory agencies, banking regulators and business stakeholders expect a more sophisticated approach to training staff on the latest trends and developments.

The Financial Intelligence Specialist (FIS) designation from ManchesterCF and the University of New Haven in Connecticut can be acquired by individuals who complete 12 FIU Connect modules over a one-year period. An average grade of 80% from 12 completed courses is required for accreditation. There are no yearly membership fees, re-certification demands or continuing professional development requirements.

How to register for the FIS License

Each license is valued at $2,388.  Conference attendees may enter the drawing at the Event Registration Desk.

Two New Conference Features

An information desk which will be staffed with law enforcement officials from the IRS, Criminal Investigations; the FBI, and Northern Virginia’s HIDTA.
